Rev.Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Day Luncheon


Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a United States federal holiday marking the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday, January 15. Dr.Kinf was an American clergyman, activist, and leader in the civil rights movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience.
In order to memorize and celebrate this holiday Raindrop Turkish House organized luncheon for local community.

Rev.John Glaze, a former TV news reporter and currently minister at church, was spokesperson at the event. Mr.Glaze mensioned about Dr.King and his struggle for civil rights. When the spokesperson ended his speach attendies had asked their question. The event adjourned right after attendies had food and beverage.
