Make a Child Smile at Texas Children's Hospital

front.jpgRaindrop Helping Hands delivered 58 donated toys to the Volunteer Unit of the Texas Children's Hospital at the Medical Center of Houston for children there. Ms Laura Marceau, Volunteer Coordinator, expressed his gratitude to Helping Hands for this generous contribution which will make children happy.

Please extend your Helping Hands to China
china_front.jpgAs Raindrop Helping Hands, we started a new help campaign for those affected by the earthquake in southwestern area of China. Now there are around 22,000 people dead but it's feared that death toll could surpass 50,000 along with many people lost. It was the worst earthquake during last three decades in China.

Our deepest condolences to China

china_front.jpgRaindrop Helping Hands expresses its deepest condolences to the Chinese government and people for the tragic loss of life and the devastation wrought by the earthquake on May, 12. The earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 occured in the southwestern area of China and left nearly 10,000 people dead and almost 20,000 people lost. It was the worst earthquake during last three decades in China. Our sympathy goes out to those families who have lost their loved ones.

We stand by the victims and we support the government's good efforts to alleviate their sufferings and rebuild their livelihoods. (May 13, 2008, Houston, Texas)

 
Help Campaign for Myanmar people
front_page.jpgAs Raindrop Helping Hands, we just started a new help campaign for those affected by Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar(also known as Burma) which has been considered one of the worst catastrophe in the world.Now, there are almost two million people in Myanmar who are waiting for your help. Conditions are really poor, clean water and food is lacking and people are trying to find a shelter. Our deepest condolences to Burmese people

Raindrop Helping Hands expresses its deepest condolences to the Burmese people for the loss of life and the devastation wrought by the Tropical Cyclone Nargis on early Saturday, May 3.

Cyclone Nargis, one of the world's deadliest storm, caused almost 15,000 people dead and hundreds of thousands of them without shelter and clean water.   Our sympathy goes out to those families who have lost loved ones. We stand by the victims and we support the people's good efforts to alleviate their sufferings and rebuild their livelihoods. (May 5, 2008, Houston, Texas)
